1 〔考え〕 an idea; a thought; a notion; 〔意図〕 an intention; a design; a view; an inclination; 〔動機〕 a motive; 〔決心〕 a decision; determination; 〔根性〕 (a) nature; (a) disposition.

●狭い了見 narrow-mindedness

・けちな了見 stingy motives

・そんなけちな了見でしたのではありません. I didn't do it from such a narrow-minded perspective [for such a petty motive].

●了見が狭い人 a narrow-minded person.
